Live Nativity Scene in Postojna Cave
The first and largest Slovenian live nativity scene depicting biblical scenes of the Nativity, set in the most beautiful chambers of the Karst underground, is celebrating its 26th anniversary. The biblical story of the Nativity is presented in Postojna Cave within its most beautiful stalactite-adorned chambers. Visitors can view the nativity scenes along the way during a leisurely stroll through the Postojna underground, while also seeing the entire tourist section of Postojna Cave. To make this Christmas celebration truly memorable, Nuška Drašček and Klemen Bunderla will perform at the nativity scene this year, joining the many young musicians who will be performing in Postojna Cave during the holiday season.SetWidth600-JAMA-JASLICE-2013-Valter-Leban-7022 The nativity scene will be accompanied by a Christmas market and festive celebrations on the plaza in front of the entrance to Postojna Cave.
