From the Pyramidenkogel tower via the slide (Aut)

To get a sense of just how large Lake Wörthersee is, we’ll drive a short distance out of Klagenfurt. The Pyramidenkogel Tower is an architecturally fascinating observation point offering breathtaking views of the lake landscape. The observation tower, a wood-and-steel structure, stands 100 meters tall and is located at an elevation of 851 meters. If you climb the tower on foot, you’ll need to ascend 441 steps. You can also reach the top via a modern elevator.

In addition to its attractive appearance, the tower offers a truly unique adventure. For the descent, you can choose a slightly more adrenaline-pumping option. For an additional fee, you can return to solid ground via a winding slide that runs through the interior of the tower.

During the summer, two additional attractions are available: "Fly 100" and "Freefall."
