Cycling around Mount Uršlja

This circular mountain bike trail, just over 40 km long, winds through local and forest roads that connect the hamlets and farms scattered around Mount Uršlja. The trail runs mostly along gravel roads and through spruce forests, passing quite a few scenic viewpoints, tourist farms, mountain huts, isolated farms, and rural hamlets. The trailhead is at Lake Ivarčko, a popular tourist and recreational center above Ravne na Koroškem, and connections to it also extend from the surrounding areas of the Mežica and Mislinja valleys. A shorter, roughly 20-kilometer-long alternative route is also available, which runs partly along a forest road.

The trail starts at Lake Ivarčko, a popular tourist and recreational center near Ravne na Koroškem. The longer, 40-km route is marked with metal signs featuring a green cyclist symbol. The shorter, 25-km route is not specifically marked, except where it follows the route of the large loop.
