Beram is an interesting inland Istrian suggestion, especially if you enjoy smaller historic villages with a very local identity.
The place is not large, yet that concentration is part of its appeal: a stone centre, long history and the feeling of an old Istrian settlement create a compact and authentic visit. The rhythm here is slower and better suited to quiet exploration.
It combines well with Pazin, Motovun and other central Istrian destinations.
