Osor is a very interesting stop on the southern part of Cres, where history and the channel between Cres and Lošinj create a trip that feels different from a standard coastal-town visit.
The place is small, yet very distinctive because of the bridge, the old core and the sense that it once held a much more important position in regional movement and trade. Walking through Osor is calm, while its geographical setting gives the visit extra interest.
It works well either as a standalone stop or as part of a route toward the southern sections of the Cres–Lošinj island area.
