Umag is a pleasant trip option in northwestern Istria when you want a combination of waterfront town life, marina views and an older urban core.
The town opens naturally toward the sea and quickly offers the feel of a promenade, harbour activity and a livelier coastal rhythm, balanced by the older part of the settlement. Walking between the centre and the waterfront works very well for a relaxed visit.
