Valun is a pleasant destination on Cres when you want a smaller coastal village with a quiet rhythm, a harbour setting and a very clear island character.
The village is compact, which gives it an immediate sense of authenticity: boats by the water, stone houses and a simple shoreline all feel closely connected. It is not a place for rushing through, but for a slower walk and a pause by the sea.
Valun fits well together with a visit to the town of Cres or with other smaller places on the western side of the island.
