Polanski Log is a refuge for many endangered plant and animal species listed on the Red List. You can explore the forest along the Polanski Log Forest Educational Trail, which is designed so that every visitor can find a route of a suitable length. Upon request, you can also be accompanied by a local forester. This ecosystem is well-known among experts far and wide, as it is home to important stands of the “Prekmurje spruce”—black alder—in Europe.
