Srnica Adventure Park

In the secluded Srnica Gorge, hidden beneath the mighty walls of Kanin, lies a park of adventure and mystery that uniquely combines easy hiking with an adventurous walk along a secured climbing route known as the VIA FERRATA.

An introductory, gentle walk leads us to the start of the park’s climbing section, where, in the central part, we ascend steep rocky steps and ledges with the aid of firmly anchored safety cables. We cross the picturesque, narrow gorge several times via various types of bridges (cable bridges, log bridges) and conclude the hike with a descent via a short zip line.

In addition to climbing thrills and adventures, you can explore numerous natural features and landmarks in the immediate vicinity (up to a 15-minute walk): the source of the Glijun stream, the Virje waterfall with its pools, and the artificial Plužna reservoir.

The adventure park is located deep within the hidden Srnica Gorge. It is designed for nature lovers, adrenaline junkies, families with children, school trips, and other organized groups.

The climbing section is carefully and unobtrusively integrated into the 120-meter-long Srnica Gorge and combines hiking with the climbing elements of a guided tour, characteristic of the so-called French model of adventure parks.

We will safely navigate crossings and ascents over exposed rock ledges and steps with the help of a steel cable fixed to the wall.  During the tour, we will cross the narrow, picturesque gorge several times via exposed bridges (cable bridges, log bridges) and add a unique ATTRACTION to our adventure—we’ll even glide across the gorge on a short zip line!

The adrenaline-filled atmosphere of the adventure park experience is complemented by visits to numerous other natural attractions and unique features located in the immediate vicinity: characteristic karst phenomena (gullies, basins, and other geological formations) as well as specific flora and fauna.

Participants should meet at the "Outdoor Galaxy" travel agency in Bovec 30 minutes before the selected tour time. Advance booking is required.
